My Title
BJo is a multidisciplinary artist, exploring the emotional, physical, and spiritual dimensions of self-exploration, through mediums of painting, sculpture, and photography. Her work is intertwined with power, fluidity, and love, expressed through playful and insistent colors, alternating textures, and confident movement.
Her process is deeply intuitive, guided by memory, emotion, and constant experimentation and discovery. Much of her work is influenced by what it means to be a woman, reflected by her own experience, and the culture and people that surround her. Her art works with moments of discomfort and pain, in juxtaposition with moments of extreme joy and peace. Much of her work is a self-portrait, descriptions of traumas and celebrations of her being in different iterations of the figure.
She graduated from Biola University with a B.S. in Studio Art in 2023. She resides in Los Angeles, California, and is currently working on multiple new series of work.
